I've never been exactly sure what this building is for, but it's on the west side of the train tracks on the north side of wadsworth road- across the street from the entrance to the canoe launch. It's also right across the train tracks from the feed store and the rest of "downtown" wadsworth. You can see part of the feed store in the upper left corner of the photo.

I have the tools to enlarge and enhance but that lettering over the door is very difficult to make out. My best guess is that it says packing or drilling company.

Ferrite Corp owned by Temple Smiths son, behind there is Campanella

At one time this was the mink food manufacturing plant owned by Paul Serdar I believe for his mink farm and for others. Switchman in the tower for the train used to shoot the rats running along the side of the old mink food plant. Also, there used to be a drainage pipe running from the plant to the des planes river next to there and all the waste would run down to the river. Used to be gigantic catfish hanging around the pipe in the river and eat what came out.
