Strangs funeral home

I grew up in the white house pictured here in the upper left-hand corner. My uncle owned the house above mine and then later the house just above the funeral home. It was a great place to grow up!

The Strang Funeral Home is located at 410 E. Belvidere Rd. (Rte. 120) in the Village of Grayslake in Avon Township. The building was built in 1954 at this location. The business started in 1898 as the Strang Furniture and Undertaking by George E. Strang in downtown Grayslake.
