This is part of Fort Hill/Lakewood Forest Preserve extension. The silo is still standing and can be seen from the walking path.

This farm property is located on Gilmer Rd. in the wooded area south of the current Lakewood Fort Hill Trail Parking lot in Fremont Township. Ralph J. Untz (1915-2008) and Luella (Obenauf) Untz (1922-2013), owner of the farm, discontinued farming and held an auction on January 9, 1972 consisting of livestock and farm machinery.
