I grew up here. 73-80. Went to Waltham Grade school then Mendota High School. I'm 56 now. I left Illinois in 1983 and everytime I went home I drove by the old place. Then without me knowing it they flattened everything South of the newer smaller house on the North side. Growing up there made me who I am today. That was my world from 9 to 16 years old.
