Henry and Anna (Froehlich) Kerber farmed here in early 1900s. Their children Florence, Dan, Ruth, Henry and Leonard were raised here. Son Dan then farmed it. His wife was Leota (Feely) and their children Patricia, Barbara, Donald, Jerome and Deborah grew up there.

My husband and I bought this place in 1988. The two barns, the crib and the shed are all red now. We replaced the house in 2000. We have lost many of Dan's beautiful old trees. Trying to replace them as fast as we can. Wish we still had that hedgerow in the back to block the blinking lights of the windfarm. Leota's farm lilies and August lilies still come up faithfully. Still have lots of Kerber's stuff in the crib and the shed and it's been thirty years! Leonard came often to pick rhubarb until he died but the Kerber kids don't stop by anymore.
