This was my folks farm. Dad bought it in 1962 & lived there until 1984.

Hi Mark,
Did you live at or visit this property? What was your favorite part of the property?

Grew up here. Had fun summers with friends swimming in the pool dad put up. Bought the field seen in the foreground & my wife & I built our first house there.

I bought a Farmall Super M here in the early 90s from Benny Sanchez and worked with my Grandpa to get it running.

Der-e-land. So THATS what happened to it. My dad left the Super M for the new farm owner & someone had started to take the motor apart when I stopped in once. Came back a few years later & everything was gone from barn. Rick Sanchez lived in the main house for a few years & planted some birch & evergreens at my house in front….

Yes! We got it in pieces, I had forgotten that. Put it all together and it still missed on 1 cylinder. Turns out 1 of the lifters on the side of the engine was seized up. We freed it up and it ran great. Unfortunately I sold it in 1996 when I bought a 560 diesel to replace it. Tony Hudek bought a really nice Gehl 65 grinder mixer out of there too.

Yep, that was a great mixer.
Where might I know you from? You are very knowledgeable on so many of the pics here.

Ok! I didn’t remember you, but mentioned it to my wife, who thought the name familiar. You lived next to the Slaters, or? I went to school with Clyde & Jean, also 4-H.
