the high school has had part of it destroyed and a new building was built. the corn field at the bottom of the photo is a subdivision now. there are two restaurants along the highway. between the school and the semi on rt 51 there is a home built in that empty lot. there are tennis courts along the highway where tha high line tower is. the power tower is gone.

The old high school wasn't destroyed, it was demolished.

Heyworth High School, 308 West Cleveland Street, U.S. Route 136, Hayworth, Illinois. The curving road in the upper LH corner is South Vine Street, U.S. Route 51. View is looking south/southeast. I have placed the pin in it's correct location.
