Ohio Grove School

My grandpa owned this school for many years! Now it’s a gym.

I attended first and second grade here in 1969-70. Three classrooms, but only 2 grades at that time. Miss Minteer taught first grade and Miss Dowell taught second. Don Lingafelter was the custodian. He was a farmer who lived directly across the road south of the school. One day, one of his bulls made it's way onto the playground and stirred things up a bit. lol We had lunch, library, "auditorium", and a "gym" all in the same common area. The school had heated floors. Many years later, my dad bought the property.
