At right, is the four-lane 1940-77 alignment of US 66. Both highways pass over the Burlington Northern RR tracks. The overpass and pavement on the left has been removed, although the embankment appears to still be in place. On the four-lane section, the western-most overpass and pavement were removed between 1998 and 2005.
