In the mid fifties Gerald Shumaker started his Allis Chalmers dealership here before moving uptown. I think this was when Delbert Delong ran his construction business out of here. Loren Rhea warehoused feed here, Keystone Stripping , Larry Richie Auction and Adams Hardware among some of the businesses that have been here.
