Oh my goodness. I was born and raised in Meredosia, and to see this pic sure brings back a lot of memories. I went into the cafe a lot of times like after school, before my football games, Friday night hangout, small but cozy and friendly. I also knew the family that lived next door, went to school with all of kids.

This is Main St. , Meredosia. I see Aunt Ellen's diner beside of Oettle's house. The high school is in back. I see Odie Dawson's watermelon stand beside of Dawson's Sunoco gas station. The big tree behind the station is where all the kids would sit before school and smoke cigarettes. Kinda the gansta hideout. Great memories. Great picture!
