John "Doc" Winston had a IH dealership here for years. My grandfather.

JL Thomas owned the house and farm behind the IH dealer building, later owned by Deano and Ladora Lyons. The IH dealership was the new prototype design that came out after WWII. I think it was built about 1947. All of those buildings are still there. Across from the dealership in my Great Grandfathers pasture there is now a Dollar General. The corn field behind the used lot would have been half mine. It was the first ground I rented on my own from Ladora.
