By chance would this property have been on lakeshore drive just west of potter road?

I'm not familiar with the area, so I can't say with complete certainty, but I was able to find these photos that I think are the same property:

Based on the shadows in those photos, it seems that the property was likely on the south side of the road. There also appears to be a drainage ditch/waterway in the field across the road from the house, and it looks very similar to one in the location you mentioned in your comment. I will pin my best guess for the location on the map. If you zoom in on the barn in this photo, it says "Chas W Begner" if that helps you at all in your search.

Yes after seeing those other pictures there is a drainage ditch right across from where this property was and it would be on the south side where I'm thinking it's just down the road from where we live. if you drove by there today you would have very little idea that it was ever there other than you can see the culvert where a driveway was that crossed into the field Thank you for the information it's quite helpful.
