This is the Ralph Bedwell farmstead located at the intersection of Rt 67 and the county line rd between Mcdonough and schuyler county. My dad farmed the Eleanor Waller ground across the road where the corn crib and balance beam scales are located which is all gone now and the whole field is farmed. The Wallers lived in Macomb and always kept a nice garden at this location. I often wondered how much was stolen out of that garden being so close to route 67. I've been told there was an old gas station across the road on the Bedwell farm and it looks like it was still there in 1967 but I don't think it was open.
