This was my great aunt Jennie Caldwells house located just north of the s curves on rt 67. All the buildings are gone now. The house was moved there from an unknown area. I was told the house was sawed in two and reattached after relocation. When Jennie was old I occasionally helped her with her chores-she had a few sheep. I remember the sheds being so full of manure that had gone back to dirt that you had to duck when inside of them. Her sister Irene Langford lived across the highway from her. She had alot of antique furniture that was unfortunately stolen from this house after her death. I farmed one of her farms when I got out of high school and would occasionally go over there and I remember she had the fastest mice I had ever seen living in the house with her!
Hi Alan,
Do you know if Jennie house is still standing today? Would Jennie have been living on the property when this photo was taken in 1967?
Unfortunately there is not a trace of any building at this site now and Jennie would have been living there in 1967 because I helped her around 1976-77
