This entire farm site has been gone since the 1990s, based on aerial photos and rural directories. Plat maps show the Mahon family owning this farm for over 100 years, going back to at least 1871. The Mahon children had the good fortune of living directly across the road from the optimistically named Toogood School. The short walk to school was most likely uphill both ways.
