Thomas and Julia Throgmorten Estate. This home was a replica of the home that was struck by lighting Memorial Day Weekend 1981, when the Tornado hit Marion, Illinois, burning it to the ground. The home was rebuilt. The week of July 5, 2020, after the settlement of the Estate, this stately mansion was torn down by the heirs.
