Danville, Illinois, 121 S Gilbert St, U.S. Route 150, Illinois State Route 1. View looks west. A contemporary BP station is on this site today. House to the south, left, is gone, replaced by a Pizza Hut. Where the dump trucks are, today is the Arby’s and Pizza Hut’s parking lot. Wish I could make out the billboards for the gas station, as the brand is not shown. One billboard does, however, advertise ROAD ATLAS and TRAVEL GUIDE.
