This is my childhood home that is still owned by my parents today. The house, main barn, and small shed are still standing to this day. The garage pictured near the center of the picture was torn down when I was in my preteen years. I was born in 1990 and my parents moved into this house just shortly before then. The dead end now "turkeyfoots" into three separate driveways. Insane to see the house have such a country feel when it is now surrounded by newer developed neighborhoods. Crab Orchard creek runs through the southern portion (far right of picture). That creek and the time spent playing around that creek brings back memories for sure. My children are now enjoying spending time at Mimi and Papa's house. Thank you vintage aerial for preserving these memories for so many people.
