My father owned the Shell Station (Scotty's Shell) from about 1955 to 1965

The small commercial building on the bottom corner virtually has remained untouched; it is exactly the same today, but it is vacant. The shell station has been replaced with the "Fireworks" store. The Alpine Grade School has been demolished and replaced with CVS Pharmacy. The basic traffic signals seen in the photo have been changed entirely. ( Obviously. )
