I think this is Gilboa School. Long gone now.

Gilboa School, Gilboa Twnshp, Benton County, Remington

I attended Gilboa for a few years starting 55 years ago. It was part of Remington Schools at that time, a middle school, 4th 5th and 6th grades I think. It was closed and torn down after Remington and Wolcott schools consolidated.

My Dad and his siblings attended when this was a high school. I and siblings attended for Kindergarten, 4th, 5th, 6th

Hi there! It's great to hear about your family's history with the old high school. Do you remember any particular details or stories from that time period? Could you share how things have changed in the area since then? Looking forward to hearing more! -Alexis

Hello!

I am very interested in all of the closed schools in Northwest Indiana. Looking at the history of the boys basketball state tournament, I noticed that the Gilboa Township High School Wildcats had their final game in the 1960 sectional. Just wondering if anyone knows more about the high school phase of this building. Was this a K-12 school at one time?
