I live in this house now, my husband has lived there for 24yrs. It is the Edward J Funk house built in 1914. The barn and lean to are still there. We now have a garage and large shop with a double drive. We are renovating the kitchen and laundry room, the original woodwork, staircase and pocket doors are still beautiful. It has a large front porch which you can't see in the photo. Is a beautiful house that hopefully will be standing a long time. Is still surrounded by fields. Most of the trees are gone except for the smaller pine trees which are huge. I love living here along with the history of the house which is where Edward Funk started his seed business upstairs in one of the smaller bedrooms. I know they would be proud that we are taking good care of it.
Spent much of my childhood at that house visiting when my dad managed the Funk farm. One of my favorite memories was when Paul played the piano. Such a treat!
