What is now bachelor run golf course. House isn’t there no more

This was 1973. The front house was moved out by Helvie's to make room for new Senior Citizen Apartments in Flora. Dad took out the circle drive for the "new" house. For a time, our bedrooms were still in the old house, but the kitchens and bathroom were in the new house. That time was a fun adventure. It was before a flood that took out the lower, east barn. Byron & Evelyn Jervis sold it in 1987 to Maurice Sharp who put in the golf course. The barn along St Rd 75 was said to be circa Civil War era. The elevator is there. Dad baled lots of hay and straw for the livestock. That barn was a very functional farm barn, 2 mows, 2 granaries, shop, small livestock area on main floor, with three divided livestock areas in the basement plus a garage and central parking area. The creek was dredged in the 1960's. Lots of stories in this picture.
