Woolworth was in the middle of the mall. Loved the candy display! Grandma liked the deli.
There was an ice cream shop to the left. The Dog Shed was a restaurant to the right.

Bickles Toys. Loved it had its own entrance in the back that led upstairs to the bike area.

Big ol Walmart in the field behind there now .

The building to the lower left was a Kroger grocery store.

The small building to the very lower left was a restaurant called Sambo's. The name of the restaurant and its mascot(which was a black person portrayed in a negative stereotype) would be considered very offensive and politically incorrect now days.

This mall has permanently closed. Sears and JCPenney have also closed. Dunham Sports was added on later and is still in business I believe.

The mascot for "Sambos" restaurant mentioned in the comment above was the hero of the 1899 childrens book and was not not not portrayed in a derrogitory manner or any other kind of stereotype. Only a small handful of folks took offense to this and the NACP sued Sambos not once but twice quite unfairly. Recall what I mentioned above, that Sambo was the hero of the story and these folks that took offense should have applauded him. I worked there and I have never met anyone that didn't like Sambos. I wish athey were still there instead of a liquor store.
