The pin on the map is centered on the 2 story masonry building at the center right of the photo above. The building is currently the home of Shorty's Steakhouse. The white buiding to the left of the masonry building has been razed and removed. Above the white sign on the side of the masonry building is a Mail Pouch sign. This sign has been covered over and is now gone. To the left of the white sign on the building the faint remains of a Bull Durham Tobacco sign can be seen. This sign was the original, prominent sign on the side of the building. This sign has also been covered over and is no longer visible. The Mail Pouch sign is ID'd as MPS 14-17-07; and, the Bull Durham sign is ID'd as BDS 14-17-02, on the Mail Pouch Barnstormer's website.
