We purchased this farm from the Richter Family in 2005. They owned it and had a dairy farm on it for many years. My husband grew up across the road from here, it is a beautiful place to raise a family.

My great grandfather Lorenz Richter settled here in 1880. My dad’s uncle was living here when dad and mom moved in with him shortly after they married in 1944 and raised six of us children. Dad sold the farm to my brother Francis who farmed it for many years and after exiting the dairy business sold some acreage with the house and farm buildings to the Days family. I lived here until I went off to college. I have many fond memories growing up here.
