This house was built by Simeon McQuiston, my 3x great grandfather. The house is still owned by the family and just passed down to my generation. We are a Hoosier homestead farm having worked the surrounding land since 1880. The barns in the photo are all gone, the last one being donated to the local volunteer fire department to burn for training in 2011. We plowed in the old barn lot and continue to work the surrounding land.
