Bought this place in 1976. The house and barn are gone. A new build in front of aare the old barn was.
Robert and Amy Weddle's place where they had 17 children. The two Maple trees behind the house are named Danny and Jerry. Transplanted as saplings by us in the early 60's after a fishing trip with grandpa to a creek by Trevlec in Brown county. Countless reunions, Christmas and Thanksgiving meals here. Many happy hours playing with all my cousins and fishing in the two ponds.
Robert and Amy Weddle home place & farm where most of their 17 children were born and raised. A few of the older ones were born before this land was purchased. Note the size of Amy's yearly garden in the lower portion of photo - much larger than the yard!
