In 1965 -- this was the residence of Phillip Lanson Swihart and Leora (Gunthorpe) Swihart. It is located east of CR 525 E -- on the south side of SR-120. This house was built by Joseph Lafayette Swihart circa 1880 -- he was great-uncle of Phillip. The Swiharts sold melons every summer for many years at this location.
