My parents built this house in 1967. Many great memories were made there.

My great memories of being in this house as I was growing up !!!

Yes I have wonderful memories of that house slumber parties and riding around the yard on an antique fire truck and sliding down the laundry shoot, great memories there!

Great memories in this house. Lots of fun times.

I remember this house being built. And we had new neighbors. I recognized it as soon as I saw the picture.

An interesting thing about our house where that picture was taken: My dad designed it by building a scale model of it, right down to the wallpaper. Being that it was 4 stories built on a hill, with 25' glass pane walls in the living room (where the picture was taken), he had to hire a contractor from Germany to build it in 1968, as nobody in the USA would take on the project. Around the other walls of that house was the balcony/library. Dad had the largest private collection of books in the state - 40,000 shelved and catalogued. In 1993, a year after his death, mom sold it and built a smaller house, being that this house was 6,000 square feet. It was legendary all around Madison County, IN. In my "formative" years, it was party central. Those parties were so epic, that people still talk about them 40+ years later. I loved that house and miss it dearly. It still stands strong today.
