This property has been in our family since 1926, the family moved into a log cabin that sat in front of the existing home at that time. The two story four square home was designed by our grandfather and built during the summer of 1929. Originally there were other small chicken coop buildings to the west of the home. The building closest to the east side of the property was destroyed by a tornado that hit 3-10-1986 and was not replaced. The others buildings are still in use on the farm.
