THis is not the original house. They tore it down and built this one. THe original house was built after C.O. Lauterbur bought this 40 acres as a bare corn field 30 days before the stock market crashed in 1929.The 32x32' barn he built and the chicken house next to it. These burned down a few years back. He was a railroad conducter all his life and raise aberdeen angus cows,sheep,chickens for eggs and airdale dogs.I ate my first pawpaw here.RIP Casey
