Star city chican barns are no longer there

I grew up on that farm. My dad Jim Wallace owned that farm for 20 years.

These were built in the 60s. I watch them being built and lived there for 20 years.

It was truly a family operation. We had 45,000 laying hens, so there were a lot of eggs to gather every day, 7 days a week. I can’t say it was a lot of fun!
