Ed and Judy Heady my grandparents lived here from the early 70s to about 1997 when the Peabody Coal Mine bought it. Here my dad and aunt grew up. My family rasied alot of hogs and grain farmed. The house was an old school building converted to a home and it was rolled on logs pulled by horses to move it where it sits in this picture. The "old house" which is the building closest to the camera was a old house that my greatgrandma Betty was born in. In the picture is my grandpas gleaner F combine and his 1800a Oliver and a couple farm trucks. In the bottom left corner you can see the top of a tree and it is Mount Olive Cemetary and it is still there to this day. My family has told me alot of stories about living and farming here and I think it is neat finding a picture of it.
