This is the Fuchs farm, the farm where I grew up. Cattle, hogs, and corn were raised here. The large barn with the dormers was a four story barn complete with a elevator. It was once a hatchery. The home and barns were built in and around 1885. This is where my mother had her beauty shop, "Jan's Country Curls". Don and Jan Fuchs lived in this home from the late 1960s till 1989.
