This farm was owned by my Grand Parents, Clarence and Martha Oldson. They purchased this farm about 1937 with extremely eroded fields. Clarence redesigned the drainage while working at the Charlestown Gun Power plant during WWII. Clarence and his Son Lloyd, worked this spread upon returning from the Navy until about '66. Lloyd and his brother Jim were Journeymen Mechanics in Florida. Clarence continued to work this farm until his passing in 1980. Lloyd and Kathleen are in their mid 90's and still in Orlando. I helped bale hay for my Grandpa on this farm in the early 70's with my cousin Mike Harvey.
