Originally the St. Joseph Catholic church with cemetery and priest's house. The house and church are no longer there. The cemetery is called the Paint Rock cemetery and is maintained by the St. Ann/St.Joseph Catholic church in Harpers Ferry.
There was a one-room country school (grades 1-8) there at one time.Located near the church.
