Mom and Dad, Keith and Helen Koile, called this the Ponderosa. Part of that old farm house is to this day, was a log home, they just built around it. The barn is gone, it was taken in a tornado. One of my first memories of this place was riding my tricycle in the barn. Riding with my sisters on a toboggan down a hill in the pasture. We also had an having a an old pet cow that my sister Marolyn had tamed and it would let me sit on it would let me sit on it's back. I believe Mom and Dad sold the farm in 1970, I would have been 5 years-old in August of that year.
