This was the Conrad and Lorene Stumme farm.

Wow did this just jolt me. I remember it so well. As a kid growing up in Douglas Township I spent many hours here working and playing. Such good memories. The Stumme kids went to school about a mile and a quarter from here and had to walk. They really did walk to school, through the snow like so many 'country kids' did. I did too, but only about 100 yards from home. Great memories.
