16696 245th St. This is the current home of Brett & Margaret Dix. When the photo was taken it was the home of Duane & Muriel Dix.
The photo is facing south. The small cans on the right side of the driveway and in the left center of the photo were young evergreen trees. They are obviously much bigger now and provide a good windbreak.
The building in the right center of the photo was a shed for storing equipment. It is now twice as long b/c it was expanded to the south. The 3 small buildings to the right of the large tree in the center were torn down in the late 80's (1988?) and a large milking barn was built in their place. The barn in this picture has an addition to the west. The original barn was torn down around 2001/2002 but the addition was kept and expanded so it is a whole building with a two slope roof. The small building below the large tree has been torn down. Both silos are gone. The shed behind the left silo was knocked over by a windstorm. Even the two large trees in the middle of the photo have been removed.
The house itself now has an attached garage to the south and a wrap around porch on the south and west sides.
