My grandparents, Lester and Clara Hullinger owned this home throughout my childhood (1950's -80's.) I have not seen it in recent years. I would love to think that it is as it was then with beautiful woodwork, two sets of stairs, stained glass windows and spacious rooms. However, I have heard that much of the beautiful interior has been removed. Lester and Clara had five children, many grandchildren and great grandchildren. We loved to gather there over the holidays. The house would be filled with family, great food, and laughter. My grandfather was a life long farmer who preferred to farm with mule teams vs. tractors. He passed away in his 80's while mending fences on his horse.
