This was the farm of my great-great grandfather, Jakob Berven. He started farming here in 1900, then moved to Chokio, MN during the 20's. When the contract for deed on this farm fell through, he moved back here around 1927 until his death in 1932. It remained in the family for many years, his son Oscar farmed here until the 70's at least. Sadly, the entire farm was razed sometime in the 80's and nothing remains today.
