This is a great picture of the weeping willow that stood sentinel in the Zimmerman front yard for so long. The tree predates the house built in 1960. When the new house was built, the old housed was sawn in two and half of it dragged away to where you see it in the background to be remodeled into hay and equipment storage. It was an amazing thing as a five year old to see my father and brothers cutting through the roof of our house with chain saws then pulling it away with log chains hooked to the tractor.
