This is 1723 Fernow Road. The farm and buildings belonged to the Dostal family of Radio Road until 1992 when I bought the farmstead from the Dostals. I lived there until 1996 when I moved to Ames. I doubt this picture is from 1979 as the barn still here in 1972 was replaced in 1985 by the modern machine shed in this picture that was built for the 1985 Farm Progress Show.
