This is the Lumir & Sarah Dostal jr. Farm on 1745 Radio Road. I worked for Lumir, Sarah and Doug in the early 90s. This was also the site of the 1959 National Corn Picking Contest with Ike and JFK visiting with the families and the 1985 Farm Progress Show. The house and the A.O. Smith silo depicting the 1959 Corn Picking Contest info are still there today. All other structures are gone. When I started there in 1990 many of the hog houses, sheds and barn were still there. The barn was lost to a big fire in 1991.
