This was my Grandparents home and farm. It was sold after their deaths and all the out buildings are gone now. I loved that house, it had a laundry shoot upstairs and the grandkids used to send messages'to the basement. The area in front of where the truck is sitting was the 'truck garden' the regular garden was to the left of the house. They had six children so had to have big gardens. Thanks for the photo.

We bought this house from Lester anf Mary Boyle. We raised our 2 sons in this beautiful home. We loved this Homestead and enjoyed our country living. We were told it was considered the show place of Madison County at one time.
