Northeast corner of the I-35/80 & 2nd Avenue (IA 415) interchange north of Des Moines. Lots of changes since this photo was taken:
-The ramp from I-35/80 no longer curves toward NW 49th Place; it was reconstructed when I-35/80 was widened in the 1990s. For that matter, part of NW 49th was realigned as part of said reconstruction.
-The three buildings in the middle of this photo are gone now. Big Barn Harley-Davidson occupies most of this site.
-The building at the top left of this photo later housed an antique store and flea market, but was demolished several years ago to make room for a Kum & Go.
-The building toward the top right is still standing as Smokey D's BBQ.
