Thank you SO much for displaying these photos. This is the house I grew up in. My folks bought it in 1983 and if you look back at past aerial photos you can see the amazing job my Dad did at restoring it. I chose to comment on this particular photo because I would’ve been 5 years old when this was taken and this is how I remember home the best. My adorable little playhouse Dad built and my play set can be seen. There was a great deal of blood, sweat, tears and sacrifices made by my folks to save that old place. Farrar will forever be home to us though we left there when I was about 14. SO MANY MEMORIES!

This is how I remember it, with the house completed and the Banana Boat sitting there.

Is the property still there today? would anyone know the current address?

It's still there across from the Farrar Methodist Church, but trees were planted and the house is harder to see now.
