This is probably the last aerial photo taken of my Dad's farm. This farm and several hundred acres around it belonged to the Day Family (the housing developments around it are now called 'Days Run'). In 2004, my husband and I moved the geodesic dome 30 miles to just northeast of Panora, Iowa. The only thing left to recognize this property are a few of the trees in the front yard. Webster Elementary School was built on this corner not long after we moved the house. Just east of this property is where the Greater Des Moines Drag Strip was built by my Grandpa and ran from 1957 to 1967.
