My parents owned and operated thenSheridan .store for over 40 years. We lived in the house beside the store from about 1960 until they sold the store and moved to Toledo in the early 80's. Before that we lived across the highway.

My family lived 2 1/2 miles west (behind the store). Our big treat in the summer was to "go to the store" after chores were done, supper finished and dishes done. We girls (3 of us) could choose if we wanted an ice cream or pop (soda). Often, several families might be at the store and the adults would visit for a while. Wonderful memories!!

My family lived about a mile from the store and I can remember going to the store with my dad and he would buy me a bottle of Pepsi. What great memories. Allen Graff and his family were so nice.

We lived kitty corner from the store. So many great memories of the Graff family. A cold Pepsi and a candy bar were regular treats. Grew up going to the store just about every day and had some great pepper games in the back of the store with the neighbors. One of my favorite pastimes was climbing the metal pole in the middle of the store.
